The Faucet installed easy enough, however there was some confusion about how to ground the faucet. I watch Delta’s installation video before I installed the faucet, the installation sheet that came with the faucet did not match the video showing how to ground the faucet. After I installed the faucet it worked as advertised but after a few weeks of using the faucet it was beginning to have a mine of its own and would turn on and off by itself. I reseated the batteries and it is now working ok. We like the faucet and find it useful.

This is the greatest faucet. It is so easy to use, works as
advertised. I have not had any of the problems the previous poster mentions. I find it great when washing dishes, you can use the side of your arm, fingers, back of hand. I also think that it helps to conserve water while doing dishes, I can easily turn the water on and off with a light touch without letting go of the pot/pan or the brush, fantastic.

Our previous faucet was a delta, they are great. We have the brushed stainless steel one, very smart looking.

This faucet was installed as a part of a major kitchen renovation. It seemed like a good idea – in keeping with moderately high-end appliances I installed. Unfortunately, the faucet will drive you crazy! This thing goes on and off unpredictably, seems prone to heat – and thus triggers itself on and off when using hot water, and even seems sensitive to breathing! My wife is ready to throw it out. Perhaps mine is defective -I’ve called Delta and am ‘waiting for a callback’ so I can’t say whether they will find a cure. But for nearly $500, I wouldn’t put myself out – I’d pay half as much and not need to worry about it…

My first try with a touch sensitive faucet was with a Brio faucet by Delta. It cost about $700 and lasted about about 3 years before became completely unreliable with switching off randomly because of its motion sensor was too sensitive. After having to turn it on about 4 times every time to get it to stay on I eventually decided to throw the Brio away and replace with the Delta Pilar. While touch sensitive, the Pilar does not have a motion sensor so at least wouldnt be succeptable to the same failure.

Amazon was the cheapest, even beating home depot by twenty percent. So I ordered, package was well packaged, and arrived on time. Install took a couple of hours, but also another couple of hours because had to remove drain disposal to get enough access. It was initally annoyingly sensitive, in that when you would turn it on with the joystick, the touching of the joystick may also turn it off. I remedied this by detaching the wire from the joystick so the only part that is touch sensitive is the spout. This is slight improvement, but now sometimes have to turn on with joystick and then touch spout to turn on.

The initial install left the faucet too tight and unable to pivot. I loosened it up some and now pivots perfectly and the light stays in the center of sink (ie not pivoting). Others have complained it doesnt pivot but they simply tightened too much.

After about a month I had no hot water from faucet. After a internet search determined the most likely cause was the check valve where the Pilar attaches to the hot water system. I removed this (about 5 minutes) and looked at it. It was absolutely caked with mineral deposits, likely from the water heater. It has a small aperature and a screen that collected the deposits and was completely caked. I was able to get them out with a toothpick in about 5 minutes and reinstalled the check valve. Voila! Hot water. Now need to drain water heater to remove the constant supply of sediment, or replace water heater if this fails. This fixture is especially sensitive to sediment because of this small screen, but performed as designed, and this was a problem with my house water. I only include this information to save the next person the internet search time I spent to make the diagnosis.

So, after a couple of months my review is mixed. I think the faucet is elegant. Others have complained it is oversized but I find it the perfect size for my large sink. The magnet that holds the spray head up is in my opinion slightly worse than typical mechanical attachment in that it keeps a small gap and doesnt have the satisfying click of previous mechanical faucets. The spray head flexible tubing seems shorter than previous fixture and lacks an attached weight to bottom of loop that would make the spray head feel more substantial when used. The electronic control is a little gimicky. It is occasionaly useful but annoying more often than useful in my opinion. However, it is a little cool so we live with it’s hassle.

I live in an apartment and my last kitchen faucet looked like something that belonged in a bathroom. When Amazon Vine made this available, I jumped at the chance. My building graciously agreed to install it. It must have been easy to install because I didn’t hear any complaints.

The faucet is attached to the main housing with a long, flexible hose. You can pull it out and fill a pot of water on the side board. You can pull it out and rinse the sink. It makes filling pots and water filtration systems so much easier. It almost feels like I have a pasta pot filler.

The chrome finish is really nice.

The touch button, on the faucet is a nice touch. You can change the water flow to a spray and also temporarily pause it by pushing the button. Turn the water off and then on again and the button resets.

My one complaint is that the faucet doesn’t always completely retract without some help.

But all in all, a beautiful piece of hardware and a nice, welcome addition to my kitchen.

Great faucet with no problems mentioned like other faucets as far as splashing. This is perfect. I love the high arc and I put it in my 30 inch kraus 70/30 sink and it looks wonderful together. I have a very small kitchen and it does not overpower the kitchen at all. We just remodeled our kitchen completely and between the sink and the faucet it gave our kitchen a more modern look exactly what we were going for. There is absolutely no splashing and it goes between spray and flow with a simple touch of a button without have to turn the water off. I also like the finish as it leaves no fingerprints. The sprayer when used glides so easily and retracts smoothly. It took me almost 2 weeks to decide what faucet to buy. I read all the reviews (which helped me greatly) before deciding. I was ready to buy a faucet at Costco until I read about the bad reviews that particular brand received. It arrived very quickly from Amazon. I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived on Tuesday.

Product arrived on time and in perfect condition. Install instructions aren’t the best (some pictures hard to follow), but good enough if you’ve ever done this work before. The hardest part is getting under the sink and removing the old faucet. The Arbor even comes with a handy socket tool to make it easy to remove an older Moen and intall the Arbor. The tool is made of hard plastic so caution must be taken not to tork too hard or it will crack. The entire process including the time to remove the old faucet took around an hour – this was due in large part to the tight working conditions under the existing sink. A helping hand on top of the sink will make things easier.

I’ve been using the faucet for about a month. It’s beautiful and nicely built. Well worth the money. Comes with a base plate mount, but I simply mouned directly on my corian counter where the old Moen sat. I highly recommend this faucet as I believe it’s a good deal for the money.
